Tim Russert Dies of Sudden Heart Attack

Mr. Russert, 58, was reportedly recording voiceovers for Sunday’s “Meet the Press” on Friday, when he suddenly collapsed at the hands of a massive heart attack.

Russert was best known for his work in “Meet the Press,” the longest running program in television history,  which he has headed since 1991. He was also the Vice President of NBC News and head of it’s Washington operations.
