Holy Moly! Joe Biden Promises that Obama’s Inexperience and Weakness Will Harm National Security

A few weeks back, an Obama Presidency seemed inevitable. His lead in the RCP average was approaching double-digits.

Then came Joe the Plumber and Obama’s pledge to raise taxes and “spread the wealth around,” to remind voters that Barack’s economic plans bear close resemblance to socialism. Then came ads featuring Bill “the Terrorist” Ayers, reminding voters of Obama’s long relationships with anti-American radicals. Then came McCain’s fiesty debate performance, in which McCain hit Obama for spending more on negative ads than any candidate in history. Then came nationwide investigation of ACORN, the voter fraud group closely connected to the Obama campaign.

Suddenly, the Obama-loving media went into a panic, as Obama’s polling numbers have leveled off and McCain has, in less than a week, cut Obama’s polling lead in half. In a year when any other Democrat would be leading by 15-20 points, Obama is sitting on a 5 point lead with two weeks left. Embarrassing.

Obama’s troubles, however, just got worse.

Yesterday at a fundraiser in Seattle, Biden all but declared that Obama’s lack of experience and foreign policy weakness disqualifies him from the Presidency. Biden being Biden:

Mark my words. It will not be six months before the world tests Barack Obama like they did John Kennedy. The world is looking. We’re about to elect a brilliant 47-year-old senator president of the United States of America. Remember I said it standing here if you don’t remember anything else I said. Watch, we’re gonna have an international crisis, a generated crisis, to test the mettle of this guy.

“I can give you at least four or five scenarios from where it might originate.”

Ruh roh.

Double ruh roh!

Does Biden need a reminder of what side he’s supposed to be on? In one fell swoop, Biden has brought the importance of strength and experience back to the forefront, giving both a gift and a glowing endorsement to McCain. Instead of reassuring voters about Obama, Biden has raised valid doubts about Obama, and offered a fool-proof reminder of why he should not be elected commander-in-chief. Classic.

Obama’s inexperience and weaknessness make him a foreign policy liability. His promise to sit down with America’s worst enemies without preconditions makes him a foreign policy threat.

You’ve already got people like Marc Ambinder trying to spin this as a non-story that won’t harm Obama because voters already believe he can handle a crisis…well, I guess that’s true if you believe polls that weight 10% more Democrats than Republicans and still only have Obama up 5 points.

We agree with Joe the Plumber and Joe Biden. On the economy, Obama is a socialist who is going to raise your taxes and then redistribute YOUR money in order to “spread the wealth around.” On foreign policy, Obama is untested, inexperienced, and dangerous, and his election will surely prompt an international crisis. And these are both according to the Democratic nominees themselves!

Thanks, Joe, for your honesty! You were right!

P.S. If McCain can’t use these two together to make political hay, it’s just probably not a Republican year. Obama’s admission that he wants to “spread the wealth around” and Biden’s admission that Obama’s inexperience puts national security at grave risk should seal the deal against Obama for undecided voters.

  1. barack obama is nothing but a socialist terrorist

  2. Martin,
As for Obama’s intellect. Did you forget the speach he gave where he yelled out to the hypnotized crowd that JFK met with Khrushchev without pre-conditions and ended the cuban missle crisis?!?! In fact it was because of JFK’s meeting with the former Soviet leader that the USSR felt confident enough to plant their missles in Cuba. JFK’s lack of experience and percieved weekness was a liability to America. Fortunately at the time we had two super powers who really didn’t have the stomach to start world war 3. Today we face a much more dangerous and irrational enemy. They act in cowardly ways and will rejoice in our naivete if we are foolish enough to elect Barak Obama as our president. Obama’s superior intellect, unchecked by his hundreds of foriegn policy advisors also lead him to believe that we could let the United Nations handle the crisis between Russia and Georgia. To bad no one told him that Russia holds veto power in the U.N.
From historical errors like “my grand father was one of the soldiers who liberated Aushwitz” to confusing veterans day with memorial day, seems that Obama is more of a scholar of Black Liberation Theology and Malcome X than American history, which Biden and McCain know all too well.
Oh yes, and as for his new endorsement from Colin Powel. Remember Americans that he was the one who lied to America and the United Nations about weapons of mass destruction in Iraq. I quess liars need to stick together.

  3. Biden’s comment seems more like a statement of strength – the enemies of this nation think that this will give them an advantage…however, Obama has a fair self assesment of his strengths, abilities and weaknesses. This, combined with his intellect will allow him to accuratly assess each situation truly based off of advisors around him – not just “go from the gut” like we have that last 8 years. I’m in the U.S. Army, and thankful to have a man with some logic to lead us.

  4. The funniest thing is that the Socialist with zero foreign policy experience wants us to enter a ground war in the rocky caves of Afghanistan.

Didn’t the Soviets already let us know how that story ends????

Wait . . . this isn’t funny. This is SCARY.

NO-bama. God help us, going broke supporting his welfare nation constituents may be the least of our problems.

  5. Obama in his own words: he’s going to “spread the wealth around.” This means raising taxes, taking your money, and giving it away as he sees fit. This is socialist. This is wrong.

Obama according to his own veep nominee: his election would prompt an international crisis because Obama is weak and untested. Therefore, Obama would put this nation’s security at risk. That is scary and dangerous.

What more do voters need to reject this Chicago clown?

  6. Biden suggests that because Obama is perceived as weak our adversaries will generate a crisis to test him. I thought we were supposed to elect him because the rest of the world loves him will love us again if we elect him.

Biden goes on to suggest that, in response to this crisis, Obama will have to show how tough he is. He cautions O’s followers to keep the faith no matter what O does (start a war? institute the draft?)

I picture those Soviet propaganda style posters of O saying Hope, Change, and Progress to be plastered on buildings just like in the old U.S.S.R., reminding us that Our Leader is taking care of us.

  7. Let’s see? I’m supposed to vote for a socialist that will place our country in a national crisis within 6 months. Makes sense to me.

If Sarah Palin had said that the media would be going crazy. But, it’s Obama… so who cares?

What a bunch of sheeple in this country.
