You Can’t Make This Stuff Up: Princess Caroline of Schlossberg Shocked By Her OWN Voting Record

As first mocked over at The Confluence, HRH Princess Caroline of Schlossberg told the Associated Press that her recently uncovered lack of civic participation left her in state of shock:

“I was really surprised and dismayed by my voting record,” she told the Associated Press. “I’m glad it’s been brought to my attention.”

So wait a minute, Princess…your failure to be bothered with democratic participation in most elections surprised you? The details of your voting record — or rather your lack of one — had to be explained to you? Um…do you have servants who are supposed to vote on your behalf and let you know for whom you cast your ballot?

Far from being the right person to fill Hillary’s pumps, Kennedy may be the most clueless of Gov. Paterson’s possible picks. The Hillary comparisons are nonsense. And for those using statements like these to expose Caroline as the left’s answer to Sarah Palin, the Palin comparison is also an insult…to Gov. Palin.

Princess Caroline of Schlossberg lacks the dedication, toughness, and attention to detail necessary to fill this vacancy. Rep. Kirsten Gillibrand, an upstate elected-not-selected official with an established record of accomplishment for working people, is a much better choice.
